#NYC #NYI #isles Duclair: D- Simply put it has not worked out/signed for two more years. Some nights he skates hard/scores others he's a ghost, and he was fairly used based on how he played. At the end management decided to sit him. Was he hurt, lazy, or just a confused player?

#NYC #NYI #isles Palmieri: F Six goals 26/games, fluke bounces, was slow/lost/bad on boards in all three zones, got even worse on offense in front of goalie/Ritchie was far better/had hands. People will remember his injured assist. Was third line when he got here, Roy go to guy.

New York Reviews IV: Shabanov/Palat/Schenn/Drouin/Tsyplakov

#NYC #NYI #isles Shabanov: D Stood out in prospect camp, got hurt early, had game against Wings, and little else. Has some moderate offensive skills/but lack of size, weak defense. Mismanaged by coaching staff by hiding/limiting his minutes despite getting a fair enough chance.

#NYC #NYI #isles Today I reviewed four players who were a big part of the teams offensive problems, ate minutes on a roster that had two goals or fewer in 41/82 games, and gave them virtually no puck possession or offense, and were marginal at best on D.

#NYC #NYI #isles Holmstrom: B+ Roy juggled him around all season as usual w/players like 44-53/others who had him shorthanded at 5/5. Still at times he carried offense, scored big goals, and carried puck keeping it away from opposition. At end was playing hurt. Top forward.

Fair numbers, got chances on all three lines, had one good week early, but his speed was absent, did not score off rush or got to high slot. He had a few bursts late, and gave his best but was invisible too often. Lee can't stay w/Pageau/Schenn.
